Students in the School of Theatre and Dance regularly interact with a network of professional visiting artists who have worked in regional and national theatrical venues, in higher education, and in film and television.
The Roe Green Visiting Director Series was established in 2003 following a $25,000 donation, to be repeated annually, from local arts patron and activist Roe Green. In 2018, Ms. Green furthered her generosity by endowing the Roe Green Visiting Director Series which will now benefit School of Theatre and Dance students for years to come.
Established in 2013, the Armstrong Family Visiting Artist Series allows the School of Theatre and Dance to invite a guest professional choreographer to work with students.
The William H. Zucchero Guest Artist Series offers support for guest designers, choreographers, performers and other artists to work with students in a variety of learning experiences including lectures, performances and public forums. The series is dedicated to the memory of William H. Zucchero, past Director of the School who directed and performed in many productions at the School and Porthouse Theatre.
