Jeff Richmond
An Ohio native and accomplished composer, producer, and director, Emmy and Producers Guild of America Award-winner Jeff Richmond began his career at Chicago's Second City and Child's Play Touring Theatre.
Richmond currently serves as executive producer of Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and is working on a musical theatre production of Mean Girls.
As a composer, Richmond has served as music director of NBC's Saturday Night Live, composed music for NBC's 30 Rock, Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, NBC's Maya & Marty and the feature film Baby Mama.
Additionally, Richmond was executive producer of NBC's 30 Rock and the feature film Sisters, and was a co-producer on the feature film Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. He has directed numerous episodes of NBC's 30 Rock and Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and has appeared in episodes of 30 Rock.
Richmond was nominated for his writing contributions to Saturday Night Live's 40th Anniversary Special in 2015. He is the winner of 3 Primetime Emmy Awards and 3 Producers Guild of America Awards for his role as a producer on NBC's 30 Rock.
Richmond was the speaker at Kent State's 2013 Commencement ceremony.
