Between its high-vaulted ceilings, skylights and mirrored staircase, grabbing a photo inside Rockwell is a must. As one of the top four fashion schools in the nation, this busy building is open late during the school year so it’s not hard to find time for a photo-op. Get creative and take photos at events; this building houses one of the most extensive fashion history museums, a fashion library and FS², the Annual Fashion Show.

It may be new, but we’re sure you’ve seen plenty of photos of the John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design. And taking one look at the picturesque building, it isn’t hard to see why. Completed in 2016, the 110,191-square-foot contemporary glass-and-brick building was created by internationally renowned New York-based firm WEISS/MANFREDI. The interior is minimalist and clean, creating the perfect backdrop for endless photo shoot ideas. The building also has a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating from the U.S. Green Building Council. Along with its clean aesthetic, the center features a partial green roof to capture and recycle rainwater, 131 geothermal wells (each 405-feet deep) to provide an energy efficient heating and cooling source and glass curtain walls designed to optimize daylight while reducing the need for artificial light.

Lefton Esplanade between campus and downtown Kent, you can find the arch during a scenic walk. The esplanade itself passes through a lot of university classrooms and features various sculptures created by the art department.
