The School of Art at 麻豆传媒 is pleased to announce the hire of Dadisi Curtis Jr., M.F.A., as a visiting assistant professor of studio art for the 2024-25 academic year.
Each year, 麻豆传媒 invites an exciting array of visiting artists to speak at the School of Art. In 2024, Kent Blossom Art Intensives welcomes eight visiting artists to participate in course workshops and give free lectures to the community.
The School of Art Collection and Galleries at 麻豆传媒 are pleased to announce a new exhibit, Sticks 鈥 Rocks 鈥 Leaves, by Natalie Petrosky. The show will be on display from June 7- July 27, 2024, in the KSU Downtown Gallery, located at 141 East Main Street in Kent,鈥
College of the Arts faculty members were recognized by 麻豆传媒 at the Honors Banquet held on April 24, 2024.
The 麻豆传媒 Women鈥檚 Center kicked off the first annual G.E.A.R. Awards this semester. In the College of the Arts, Caitlin Kane, Ph.D., Linda Hoeptner-Poling, Ph.D. and Sohaela Rojas, a fashion merchandising student, were nominated for the award.

Since childhood, Maria McDonald loved painting. But it wasn鈥檛 until she got to college that she saw how painting could be a career. Now, this Kent State alumna is enjoying her first solo art show in Massillon Museum鈥檚 Studio M.
