It was the School of Communication's esteemed reputation in the field of research that led Theresah Ayertey to pursue a Master of Arts at 鶹ý. "My passion lies in research and exploration," Theresah said, "and the communication program at Kent State provides an exceptional opportunity to uncover innovative approaches and solutions within this field of study."
There have been numerous experiences that have been memorable at Kent State for Theresah, but one absolute standout moment came when she received scholarships from both the department and the Dean of the College of Communication and Information. Theresah said of these awards, "These achievements hold immense significance for me, and I deeply appreciate the recognition and support they represent."

What Theresah has gained is "a deeper understanding of communication studies and improved research abilities, which has broadened the scope of career possibilities available to me. I now feel confident and capable of pursuing roles in academia, research or professional settings within the field of communication."
