Change in a Minute

Change in a Minute is designed to provide faculty with clear and evidence-based strategies that work. This site is a collaboration between the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Science of Learning in Education Center at �鶹��ý.

Active Learning Classroom

Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) room 255 accommodates 30 students, naturally encourages group work and active-learning with movable tables and chairs and Chromebooks for each student. In addition to the two double-sided moveable whiteboards in the room, the walls are covered in magnetic whiteboards. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is available to work with you to implement active learning strategies, enhance your teaching experiences and to support you in conducting teaching/learning research in this space. Calendar fills up quickly so please submit your request with the link below as soon as possible.

Educational Equipment

Faculty can request access for equipment to improve their teaching and learning. There is a variety of technology available.

Book Loans

The Center has a library containing books and documents on various topics: Academic Leadership, Assessment Evaluation, Faculty Development, Learning, Learning Communities, Mentorship, Miscellaneous, Online Teaching, Organizations, Peer Review, Portfolios, Reappointment Tenure Promotion, Research, Student Development, Student Learning, Teaching and Writing.

Workshops in a Flash

Workshops in a Flash are 15 minute mobile mini-workshops, facilitated by CTL staff. They are designed to be delivered to groups of instructors during informal gatherings or departmental meetings. Workshops in a Flash are meant to start exploration of a chosen topic with continued support from the Center as requested.
