The Learning Innovations Lab, located in 210 White Hall, joins 25+ DI nodes at Kent State. The lab’s divergence from the traditional makerspace gives it a distinct presence on campus. Technology in the lab largely focuses on supporting programs found within the College of Education, Health, and Human Services. Design Innovations’s newest node brings the future of education to campus.
The space gives students and faculty access to current and emerging classroom technology, including: coding, gaming, extended reality, 3D printing and remote teaching and learning tools. Individuals are encouraged to attend open lab hours to explore the many possibilities.
