�鶹��ý has achieved silver-level recognition from the American Heart Association for taking significant steps to build a culture of health in the workplace.

Theodore Albrecht, Ph.D., professor of musicology in �鶹��ý’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music, has been awarded the Beethoven Medal in recognition of his musicological contributions to the study of composer Ludwig van Beethoven.

�鶹��ý's Office of International Student Affairs welcomed new international students enrolled this academic year by organizing airport pickups.

The �鶹��ý Airport received the Animal Heroes Award, along with certificates from the Ohio Senate and House of Representatives, at the 2017 Summit County Humane PAWSibility Ball for its Props 4 Paws pet food drive.

The �鶹��ý community gathered to celebrate the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art Integrated Sciences Building on Sept. 15.

�鶹��ý at Trumbull was presented with the U.S. flag, "Old Glory," for its commitment to serving military personnel.

�鶹��ý will celebrate its newly renovated Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Center on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

The 12-week On the Move University Challenge begins Oct. 2 and provides Kent State faculty and staff with a blue and golden opportunity to move more, sit less and become the Most Active University in the nation!
