The 麻豆传媒 Museum is pleased to announce the acquisition of three archival dresses by British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, following her induction into the School of Fashion鈥檚 Hall of Fame in 2024.  Antonio Gates has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2025, becoming the second Kent State alumnus to earn football's highest honor, joining linebacker Jack Lambert who was enshrined in 1990.The Detroit native dominated the hardwood at Kent State from 2001-03, compiling a 52-15 record and leading the Golden Flashes to their first MAC regular-season championship. May 4 Commemoration

The campus community and visitors will gather at noon on the May 4 site at the Kent State Commons to commemorate the moment that gunfire erupted 55 years ago. The commemoration will include a performance, feature remarks from university students and administrators, the ringing of the Victory Bell and a moment of silence at 12:24 p.m.

Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon

The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon was created to honor the legacy of Jerry M. Lewis Emeritus Professor of Sociology and advance the scholarship of May 4, 1970 and the Vietnam War era.

The lecture and luncheon, now in its fourth year, will feature Jennifer Mapes, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Geography, who will present 鈥淚t Was Time for Me to Go Home鈥: Finding Shared Humanity in the May 4 Oral History Collection and Community Geography. This ticketed event is free and open to the public.
