The Division of People, Culture and Belonging wants to inform you of a minor change related to the last pay period of the calendar year that will be implemented in December 2024. For several years, employees who were paid semi-monthly received their paychecks early, typically the day before the winter break shutdown. We are now implementing a new consistent semi-month pay practice, meaning that the final paycheck for the calendar year will be on December 31. That means that employees paid semi-monthly will no longer receive their last paychecks of the year early.
