
Jeffrey Hoffman Green, '74, Bonita Springs, FL, known as ""J. Green,"" was a beloved brother, uncle, friend and decorated Vietnam War veteran. Born on May 13, 1948, in Davenport, IA, he passed away peacefully on March 3 in Bonita Springs, FL, at 76. Jeff survived numerous life-threatening incidents, including a car accident at age five, a falling tree and a jet ski accident, yet maintained a positive outlook.
He graduated from Mount Lebanon High School, attended Massanutten Military Academy and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968. As a gunner in Vietnam, he bravely saved fellow soldiers, earning the Bronze Star with Valor. After the war, Jeff studied at Â鶹´«Ã½, forming lifelong friendships. He lived in Michigan, where he hosted legendary parties and was active in Rotary International. In 2021, he moved to Florida, cherishing time with friends and his beloved pet, Kurtie.
