Meet Marianna Young!

鈥淚 chose Kent State because I felt immediately at home here,鈥 said Marianna. 鈥淎s soon as I toured the school I knew this was the place for me and I truly wouldn鈥檛 want to be anywhere else. I also really fell in love with the musical theatre program. All of the faculty and staff made me feel so welcome!鈥

Meet Jared Eichler!

鈥淚 had always grown up a Golden Flash,鈥 said Jared. 鈥淢y family would always go to the basketball games and see the energy that was brought to the MACC. I enjoyed watching the Flasher Brass perform at the games and it even encouraged me to go into music. When it came to choosing what college I wanted to go to, there really wasn鈥檛 any other choice as clear as Kent State.鈥

鈥淚 chose Kent State for the culture and the history of activism," said Molly. "Both of those things are very important to me and are integral parts of art history, which at the end of the day, is just a reflection of reality.鈥

This summer, students in 麻豆传媒's School of Art had an opportunity to study in Italy through the university's Florence Summer Institute program.

The School of Art Collection and Galleries at 麻豆传媒 are pleased to announce a new exhibit, Sticks 鈥 Rocks 鈥 Leaves, by Natalie Petrosky. The show will be on display from June 7- July 27, 2024, in the KSU Downtown Gallery, located at 141 East Main Street in Kent, Ohio.
