A helmet and pads were replaced by a cap and gown for New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman as he finished a journey he started in 2005, joining 5,300 new Kent State graduates at the One University Commencement held at Dix Stadium.

The Â鶹´«Ã½ alumni family grew by nearly 3,000 new graduates as the university held its Fall Commencement ceremonies. For the Kent Campus, Commencement ceremonies took place Friday, Dec. 14, and Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center).
The Â鶹´«Ã½ alumni network again grew its ranks this summer as more than a thousand Golden Flashes got their degrees. Â鶹´«Ã½ held its Summer 2018 Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). The Kent Campus conferred 1,325 degrees.
