Instead of heading home to relax following the conclusion of finals week, a group of Â鶹´«Ã½ student-athletes traveled to Aguacate, Belize, for a service project.

The Girls Geared for Engineering Camp at Â鶹´«Ã½ is the result of a partnership between Kent State’s College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology and the Six District Educational Compact.

Â鶹´«Ã½ at Trumbull sophomore Deneen Penn was crowned Miss Ohio Collegiate America 2017 and now advances to compete for the title of Miss Collegiate America in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Theatre and Dance Professor Tamara L. Honesty helped to bring a beloved 1980s television series to the stage in the Human Race Theatre Company's world premiere production of Family Ties.
