College of the Arts Faculty Award Winners Pose at the 2023 University Honors Banquet

More than 200 Kent State employees were honored with numerous distinctions as awards and recognitions were presented to staff and faculty members for their excellence and dedication at the University Honors Banquet.

Innovation Day 2023 was a collaborative effort of the Northeast Ohio Public University Research Alliance (NEO-PURA) comprised of Â鶹´«Ã½, Cleveland State University, Northeast Ohio Medical University, The University of Akron and Youngstown State University.

March is National Social Work Month in the United States. Although it is a celebratory time, the profession currently faces challenges due to reductions in the labor force and a growing population of need, especially in rural communities. Kent State recently announced the creation of a Bachelor of Social Work academic degree program, which will launch in the fall of 2023 with a focus on rural social work.
