Join the faculty, students and staff of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry on Thursday, April 19, 2012 as we celebrate student achievement. Dr. Bartosz A. Grzybowski from Northwestern University will present the plenary lecture, "The Network Universe of Organic Chemistry: The Dawn of Chemical Internet" at 3:00p.m. in the Kiva. Dr. Grzybowski's research interests include self-assembly in equilibrium and non-equilibrium regimes, light-controlled materials, and nanoscience.
We will recognize our undergraduate and graduate student award and scholarship recipients during a reception in room 204 of the Kent Student Center. The reception will be held from 4:30 until approximately 6:00 p.m., with the presentation of awards at 5:00 p.m. Be sure to join us for both the plenary lecture and the reception.
