Kent State Plays Thursday in MAC Tournament in Cleveland

Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s men’s basketball team has clinched the No. 4 seed in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament and will advance to a third round (quarterfinal) game versus No. 5 Ball State, No. 8 Buffalo or No. 9 Central Michigan on Thursday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

Kent State women’s basketball saw its season come to an end Saturday, March 9, with a 76-35 defeat in the opening round of MAC Tournament play at No. 5 seed Bowling Green.

TICKET INFORMATION

Seats in the official Kent State section for Thursday’s third round game at Quicken Loans Arena are currently on sale. The cost is $34 for each round.

Fans can purchase tickets by phone or in person at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center) Ticket Office, but those tickets must be picked up at Quicken Loans Arena on the day of the game. Will Call on MAC Tournament game days will be available at the Arcade Entrance of Quicken Loans Arena beginning at 5:30 p.m.

When purchasing tickets, fans can request to have their credit cards charged for seats to the semifinals and finals should Kent State advance.

The MAC Center Ticket Office hours for purchasing seats to the MAC Tournament are:

  • Monday, March 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. to noon
  • Friday, March 15, from 8:30 a.m. to noon
  • Saturday, March 16, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Tickets also can be purchased on game days at the Kent State Will Call booth located in the Arcade Entrance to Quicken Loans Arena beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Season Ticket Holders:

Seating in the Kent State section at Quicken Loans Arena will be assigned on Thursday morning based on lifetime giving to athletics and longevity as a season ticket holder. To guarantee preferred seats, tickets should be purchased by Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Alumni and Fan Pre-Game Reception:

In Cleveland, join us for the 12th Annual Kent State alumni and fan pre-game men’s tournament reception at Flannery’s Pub sponsored by the Alumni Association and Golden Flashes Club. Located at 323 Prospect Ave. in downtown Cleveland, Flannery’s is a short walk to Quicken Loans Arena and is decked out in blue and gold. Complimentary appetizers will be provided for alumni/fans during the reception. Additional pre-game events will be held as Kent State advances in the tournament. Get the latest and greatest fan wear as the bookstore will be on-site to sell Kent State apparel.

Receptions will start at 5 p.m. on all dates the Kent State men’s basketball team plays in Cleveland.
