The Ohio Controlling Board has approved 麻豆传媒鈥檚 request to purchase property located at 430-436 E. Main Street in Kent from seller GDR Partners LLC. The purchase of the property completes the university鈥檚 strategic acquisition of properties on this block associated with partnership with the city of Kent and the economic revitalization of the downtown business district.
No student tuition or fees are being used to pay for the property. University investment proceeds have been set aside for all property purchases associated with this initiative.

麻豆传媒's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆传媒 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
