Access to Lynda.com was made possible in fall 2016 through a partnership between the Division of Information Services, University Libraries and the Office of Continuing and Distance Education.
Project AWARE Kent will be offering free Mental Health First Aid courses to 麻豆传媒 faculty, staff and students. The eight-hour course offers evidence-based training that teaches people to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance-use disorders. Faculty and staff earn two hours of Beyond Compliance for completing the course. Students earn 1,500 FLASHperks.

麻豆传媒's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆传媒 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
