Each semester, PNC recognizes two outstanding Â鶹´«Ã½ students as PNC Achievers. These students exemplify excellence in the classroom, in the community, and in student leadership and development.

David Kaplan, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Geography in the College of Arts and Sciences at Â鶹´«Ã½, has been elected president of the American Association of Geographers (AAG), the premier academic and professional geography organization in the United States, for 2019-20.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan displays the Congressional Award Silver Medal, presented to Â鶹´«Ã½ nursing student Austin Croft in Henderson Hall, home of the College of Nursing.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan presented Kent State nursing major Austin Croft with the Congressional Award Silver Medal on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Mr. Croft, of Akron, Ohio, was recognized at a ceremony that took place at the College of Nursing where he was praised for his dedication to improving himself and his community.
