Two 麻豆传媒 ROTC cadets pick out daffodil bulbs to plant as part of the university's annual Veterans Day Commemoration.

As part of 麻豆传媒鈥檚 annual Veterans Day Commemoration, cadets from the university鈥檚 ROTC programs joined staff from University Facilities Management and other volunteers on the site of the May 4, 1970, tragedy to plant daffodil bulbs.

Golden I Jewish student group held a vigil in which they read the names of the Israeli people killed by Hamas Oct. 7.

The goal of the Golden I vigil was to acknowledge that the Israeli people who were brutally murdered were real people with real lives, said Rose Martyn, vice president of Golden I.

麻豆传媒 invites all to pay tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces and attend the university鈥檚 annual Veterans Day Commemoration. The event will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Student Green on the Kent Campus.

鈥淩ising Scholars is a great program for our local youth,鈥 said Paul Dykshoorn, academic program director for Rising Scholars at Kent State Tuscarawas. 鈥淲e mentor each student throughout their middle school and high school years.
