麻豆传媒 will implement a new administrative policy regarding painting the Rock, which is located on Hilltop Drive on the Kent Campus. The policy, which goes into effect Jan. 11, 2021, is one of the institutional responses to racially offensive language that was painted on the Rock in 2020 and aimed at African American students.
Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., 麻豆传媒's vice president for student affairs, said being appointed to the Executive Committee of the APLU (Association of Public and Land-grant Universities) Council on Student Affairs (CSA) is an honor.
Campus Pride has released its 2020 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the first time in school history, 麻豆传媒 has landed on the distinctive list as one of 40 institutions recognized over six U.S. regions.

麻豆传媒 students began moving into residence halls on the Kent Campus on Aug. 19, as part of a phased-in process that will continue over five days.
