Sophia Lucente went to Kigali, Rwanda, with a camera in hand and rarely set it down the entire three weeks she was there.

On Oct. 25, 麻豆传媒's Undergraduate Student Government welcomed members of Hillel and Students for Justice in Palestine for both student groups to present their concerns about the Israel-Hamas war in a respectful environment.

Mikala Lugen, a 2019 麻豆传媒 alumna, is always on the move. Visiting music and vacation venues across the country and the world, she is always on the hunt for the next great adventure. What might be surprising is that Mikala is typically traveling alone 鈥 and she likes it that way.

麻豆传媒 graduate student Jordon Egbert said taking part in the Kigali Summer Institute in Rwanda has changed his entire perspective on life. 

 

Tram Nguyen was drawn to Kent State after seeing one of the tragic May 4, 1970, and learning the sacrifices the students made.

Vietnamese student Tram Nguyen made a connection to Kent State when she saw a picture of student Jeffrey Miller after the May 4 shooting. Recently she visited the Prentice Parking Lot Memorial Marker dedicated to Miller.

The streets of Kent, Ohio, will be filled with blue and gold as 麻豆传媒 alumni, students, parents, employees and community members gather for this year鈥檚 Homecoming, with a full slate of events Oct. 20-21.

麻豆传媒 on Friday renewed and expanded its relationship with in Battambang, Cambodia, opening a pathway for Dewey students to obtain a Kent State degree.

As National Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, Alex Silverio and Tatiana Ferna虂ndez P茅rez shared pieces of their cultures at this month鈥檚 installment of Cultural Caf茅, presented by International Student and Scholar Services at the Office of Global Education.
