Anticipation grows as construction on the new home of Kent State's Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship nears completion. The university's newest and largest building will house innovative, state-of-the-art spaces for learning, collaboration and engaging in valuable, hands on business experiences.

�鶹��ý will be closed July 4 to observe Independence Day. No classes are scheduled on the holiday, and university offices are closed. The university will resume normal operations on July 5.

In its 2024 Best Colleges analysis of more than 700 four-year colleges, Money ranked Kent State as the most affordable college in Ohio.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited �鶹��ý touring the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, and telling students that “the future of aviation leadership is in your hands.”

�鶹��ý celebrated Juneteenth on Risman Plaza and the Student Green on June 18 with food, dancing and music. 

Music, dancing and food were all part of �鶹��ý’s lively commemoration of the Juneteenth National Independence Day federal holiday, celebrating the rich history of Black Americans.
