Hurricane Harvey caused damage to the home of Kent State student Alexis Bartee's grandparents.

Senior insurance studies major Alexis Bartee was in Texas caring for her elderly grandparents when Hurricane Harvey hit. From that experience, she has learned more about her chosen field than any classroom could have taught. 

Kent State鈥檚 Center for Architecture and Environmental Design was named "Best in Class鈥 for incorporating clay brick in its design.

The 2017 Brick in Architecture Awards named 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Center for Architecture and Environmental Design as 鈥淏est in Class鈥 for the Educational (Higher Education) category.
