How We Help You
We specialize in building responsive, accessible websites that align with Kent State’s branding and web standards. Our team works within an established design system, using existing elements and layouts to create a cohesive and functional site. While we provide design and development support, certain requests—such as integrating third-party systems or creating content outside brand guidelines—may be beyond our scope. We’ll collaborate with you to clarify what’s possible and guide you toward alternative solutions when needed.
Your Role
Successful web development is a partnership. As the client and subject matter expert for your department, you play an active role in writing, adding and maintaining your website’s content. You will also provide feedback and approvals to guide the project throughout the process. Our team will manage the design, development and technical implementation, ensuring the site meets your needs while adhering to university standards. Together, we’ll create a site that is both functional and sustainable.
Maintaining Your Site
Once your site is live, you will be responsible for its ongoing maintenance. Each semester, you’ll need to leverage our quality assurance resources—such as Siteimprove (SI) for accessibility and compliance checks and Google Analytics for performance tracking—to ensure your site remains functional, optimized and aligned with university standards. While our team is available for guidance and support, our goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge to confidently manage your site’s day-to-day updates.

Once your request is received, our team will set up an initial consultation to discuss your vision, requirements and preferred timeline. We’ll then create a project plan that outlines key milestones, deliverables and responsibilities to ensure a successful project launch.
