Students were treated to special culinary creations prepared by some of the university's top chefs, along with a chance to win prizes at a Chef Showcase event at Eastway Center and the DI Hub. 

Students from Kent State's School of Fashion were able to showcase their designs digitally, by clothing avatar models, for a runway show on floor-to-ceiling, wraparound screens at the DI Hub's Blank Lab. 

Students in Kent State's School of Art had the opportunity to use modern methods to recreate an ancient Chinese wine vessel. 

Kent State's DI Hub is participating in the Campus Race to Zero Waste One-Building Challenge, a friendly competition between universities with the goal of finding all the ways to reduce the amount of non-diverted trash in a specific university facility. 

The excitement has been building for more than a year, and the day is finally upon us!

Since she was a child, Caitlyn Skilton, a recent graduate of the zoology program at �鶹��ý, has harbored a passion for ecology, with a deep love for birds of all kinds. She chose to extend this love in her undergraduate work at Kent State. On December 1, Skilton, who also minored in photojournalism, hosted a reception for her “Flight of the Chimney Swift” immersive multimedia exhibit in the Design Innovation (DI) Hub’s Blank_Lab.
