�鶹��ý Athletics is the first in the Mid-American Conference to provide student-athletes with a cryotherapy chamber. The therapy uses subzero temperatures, under 200 degrees Fahrenheit, to help muscles recover quickly.

The �鶹��ý women’s soccer team secured the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Regular Season Championship by defeating Ohio University 2-1 on Oct. 26 at Dix Stadium. It is the third regular season championship in program history and the first since 2004.

The �鶹��ý women’s soccer team recorded its 11th clean sheet of the season in a 1-0 victory over the University of Toledo on Oct. 19 at Dix Stadium. The Kent State Golden Flashes clinched the MAC East Division crown for the second year in a row. Kent State sits atop the Mid-American Conference (MAC) standings. ’ goal in the 22nd minute proved to be the decisive score.

�鶹��ý’s commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive campus has received acknowledgement from INSIGHT Into Diversity, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, for a fifth consecutive year. INSIGHT Into Diversity has selected Kent State as a recipient of the 2017 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award.

�鶹��ý has made an impressive climb up the Best National Universities list released today by U.S. News & World Report in its new 2018 edition of Best Colleges. Kent State rose 12 spots, once again earning a coveted position on the first-tier list that includes both public and private universities nationwide. Among public universities, Kent State is included in the top 100 universities in the U.S.

A �鶹��ý tradition for 36 years, the annual Black Squirrel Festival will take place Friday, Sept. 8, from noon-5 p.m. on the Student Green and Risman Plaza. The Black Squirrel Festival, which is hosted by Kent Student Center Programming, attracts more than 3,000 students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the Kent community.

, �鶹��ý’s director of golf and head men’s golf coach, has been selected to serve as one of the head coaches of the International team at the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup on July 6-8 at Evian Resort Golf Club in France.
