Intro to Outlook

What is MS Outlook? Microsoft Outlook is a communication tool that includes multiple functions including email, calendaring, and contact management. Outlook is available as a web app (called Outlook Web Access, or OWA) and as a standalone application, either for mobile devices or computers.

Adobe Express Introduction

The Adobe Express app (Formerly called Adobe Spark) for web and mobile allows fast and easy creation of social media graphics, web pages, and video stories from anywhere. Adobe Express is free and does not require an Adobe Creative Cloud license.

Course Scheduler Basic Training

This course covers the information required to obtain system access to begin scheduling course sections in Banner INB and DCU, and use of the Section Time Location Change Workflow and Section Title Change Workflow. This course is available only to staff members who will be creating or editing university course schedules. This is a scheduled for 2.5 hours. **REQUEST FOR SCHEDULER MUST BE REQUESTED BY YOUR DEPARTMENTAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR**.

Microsoft Office 365 Apps Overview

The Office 365 catalog is huge! In this workshop we will explore lesser known apps available to Â鶹´«Ã½ faculty and staff. We will look at MS Books, To-Do, Planner, Forms, OneDrive, Sharepoint and much more! Computers will be provided for in-person participants however participants are welcome to bring their own laptops or tablets to explore Office 365.

Microsoft Loop Introduction

Microsoft Loop is a transformative co-creation experience that brings together teams, content and tasks across your tools and devices. As part of the Microsoft 365 suite, Loop combines a powerful and flexible canvas with portable components that move freely and stay in sync across applications — enabling teams to think, plan, and create together.

OneNote 101

Microsoft OneNote is a note taking app that is included with Office 365 Apps (Free for Kent State students, faculty and staff) and allows users to create & store notes, drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries. Feel free to bring your own laptop if Office 365 Apps have been installed on your computer, otherwise lab computers are available for participants to use.

Microsoft Teams Meetings

MS Teams meetings is a web based online meeting space. Teams meetings are a great way to come together with your colleagues both inside and outside of Kent State. Meetings in Teams include audio, video, and sharing. Join us for this introduction to holding meetings in MS Teams. Note that MS Teams Meetings is the default collaboration space for the CANVAS LMS.
