Microsoft Forms

Microsoft Forms is a web based survey and form collection app. Workshop participants will learn how to build a form to collect data online using Microsoft's easy to use form builder. We will also look at where collected data is held and how to manipulate collected data.

This workshop is presented in a hybrid format: in person in the TechHelp Training Room, Library 152, as well as via Teams meeting.

Introduction to R for Data Analysis

R is a free and open-source programming language used for statistical data analysis and data visualization. In this workshop, we'll cover the basics of how to use R to analyze data with the goal of answering a research question. No programming experience is required, but familiarity with another statistical software package (like SAS, Stata, or SPSS) is helpful.

Protecting Your Digital Identity

This workshop will explain ways you can protect your privacy online and help prevent someone from stealing your identity. Computers will be provided however students are welcome to bring their personal laptops or tablets to configure.

Microsoft Planner Essentials

Microsoft Planner is a light project management tool that integrates with Office 365. Planner makes it easy for your team to create new project plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you鈥檙e working on, and get updates on progress. This workshop explores the basics of MS Planner and how it integrates into MS Teams and other Office 365 apps.

Cognos Report Writer

This is a hands-on session designed to demonstrate the basic functions of Report Writer, to write Cognos Reports. Enrollees should have basic knowledge of running Cognos reports as a consumer. Topics include designing basic reports, adding filters, building prompts, grouping and sorting data and aggregation. To attend this session it is recommended that attendees have access to Report Writer. Contact your Departmental Security Administrator to request access. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 2 HOUR WORKSHOP.

KSU Galleries Exhibition: "Board Stretcher" by Eli Gfell

The School Art Collection and Galleries at 麻豆传媒 is excited to announce their latest exhibition: 鈥淏oard Stretcher,鈥 featuring work by artist Eli Gfell. 

鈥淏oard Stretcher鈥 explores exhibit design and the support structures of an exhibition space. 鈥淏oard Stretcher鈥 will be on display at the KSU Downtown Gallery from Opening Reception: Jan.17, 5-7 p.m..

QTPOC Social Group
