American Academy Commencement

Â鶹´«Ã½ celebrates its ninth American Academy commencement in Brazil, with 20 students participating. The program offers Brazilian students a unique opportunity to earn dual credits and explore majors before choosing to complete their degrees in the U.S. or Brazil.

Kent State in Pakistan

Kent State staffers travel the globe to share all that's great about our university and recently traveled to Pakistan to meet with high school students and counselors.

Freshman year can be a little stressful, even for a faculty member. But Raiful Hasan, Ph.D., who just completed his first year as an assistant professor of computer science at Â鶹´«Ã½, is feeling content and excited for the next academic year.

Â鶹´«Ã½ has announced two substantial philanthropic gifts in support of the Global Education Endowment, which was established in 2022 in recognition of the 50th anniversary of Kent State’s education-abroad presence in Florence, Italy.
