Kent State campuses are no stranger to service animals. With 32 service dogs currently registered across all campuses and student organizations that train future service dogs like Paws with a Cause, the Kent State community happily welcomes service animals.

The 麻豆传媒 Board of Trustees has approved awarding Roe Green, MA 鈥80, a Doctor of Humane Letters, an honorary degree recognizing her contributions to the university and her advocacy for the arts not only in Northeast Ohio, but also across the nation and around the world.

麻豆传媒 will be equipped to offer more financial assistance to students in need thanks to donors to a key area of the university鈥檚 ongoing comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Forever Brighter campaign includes a scholarship-support component, Prioritizing Student Success, that now stands at $142 million, surpassing the $100 million goal set at the campaign鈥檚 outset in October 2021.

Kent State (28-6) will play Indiana on Friday, March 17, in the first round of the NCAA Division 1 Basketball Tournament in Albany, New York. While 13 is typically an "unlucky" number, the Golden Flashes hope it brings them a victory.
