Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Kent State Museum Hosts "Millie" Preview, Flapper Lecture
The 麻豆传媒 Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s. This special program on Feb. 17 is presented in conjunction with the museum鈥檚 鈥淔lapper Style: 1920s Fashion鈥 exhibit and Kent State鈥檚 production of 鈥淭horoughly Modern Millie.鈥 The event will include a short preview of 鈥淭horoughly Modern Millie鈥 by members of the cast, followed by a talk by 鈥淔lapper Style鈥 curator Sara Hume, Ph.D.
